Assistant Professor in Philosophy
The Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, is seeking candidates for the position of philosophy instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory
courses in philosophy to the B.A. students as well as conducting seminars on the philosophy of science and technology for M.A. students. All instruction is done in English. The university is
offering a competitive salary depending on the experience and qualifications. The contract is for one year, renewable upon satisfactory performance.
Requirements: Ph.D in Philosophy by the time of appointment preferably with focus on ethics/philosophy of science.
Expected hire date is late August 2017 or early January 2018
