The University of Innsbruck, Dept. of Philosophy at the Faculty of Catholic Theology, invites applications for a Research Associate (UniversitätsassistentIn) – PhD position – for 3 years, 75%, salary scale Austrian Kollektivvertrag, including social benefits. Teaching duties: one course/semester. The position will be affiliated with Professor Dr. Christoph Jäger.

Candidate profile:
- masters degree in philosophy with top grades;
- competence in analytic philosophy;
- languages: English (fluent), German (at least B2 level or willingness to achieve this level within 2 years), further languages appreciated;
- social competence.

The candidate will work on a project in any area of (analytic) philosophy, preferably in social, general, formal, or applied epistemology; the project should bear relevance to some field in the philosophy of religion.

The successful applicant will work in a friendly international academic environment. In addition to CV and motivation letter, the application should include a project outline (max. 5 pages) and a writing sample.
